The New Shirt!!!

I know it's been a long time since the last one but we think this shirt and hoodie were worth the wait. They won't be in stores until next week so be the first on your block to own this limited edition "Winged Skate" masterpiece. Get ready for the spring with our signature pinks and blues and remember it can get nippy in SoCal so get the matching sweatshirt too. It's the only black hoodie we've ever made and will soon be the only black hoodie John Jermien will wear.
Also, be on the lookout for this new eye-pooping sticker. It features the magic skate that will be seen on our new shirt. Contact us if you want a stack to put up around town.

We have posted 10 new Crazy Robertson picture albums. Most of them contain never before seen photos.

The Crazy Robertson Blog

John has been a writing machine lately. His first blog attracted a lot of questions, many people didn't think he even wrote it. We can assure you he did. You think our vocabulary is that strong?Psssh, right? With that kind of wordplay we would be on the cover of the Wall St. Journal or something? The guy might be better at scrabble than he is skating. I dunno, we never played? We caught up with John while he was posting. Check it out...

John challenged me to a hitting contest at the local cages. I'm pretty sure I'll beat him, footage on that to come...

John Jermien's First Blog

The Theodore S. Hirsh Group Collective/The Crazy Robertson Co.

Jermien Coalition represents a group alliance evidencing erudite entrepreneurial etiquette and accuum in connection with a fundamentalist approach and perspective exuding the extremity of alternative/rock/metal musical traditions. With avant garde, progressive and contemporary perspective/ A pronounced state-of-the-art technological/ instrumentation awareness/ adeptness factor, the group collectives musical focus and foray is pre-eminent, from mosh-pit punk to club-lounge/bar-groove. Ted, John and Cactus

So I was having a long chat with my friend John Jermien (The Crazy Robertson). Wasn't expecting much to come out of it other than a friendly hello and an update on the next shirt, new stickers, etc. Once in a blue moon he will chill for a bit and talk music. Once in a maroon moon, I guess you could say, he will talk music and it won't be about Hendrix or Prince or Black Sabbath. This time he was reminiscing about his days at military school and the music that inspired him. To tell you the truth, I had no idea who these bands were that he was referring to but I was eager to hear him out. He spoke of a band called "Cactus." He said they were raw and real and metal. Very overlooked and very hard to find. He said he must have it and would pay any amount of money to hear it again. So, I'm like shit, this must be something serious. I go home and hit up itunes get the album in 20 seconds, $7 more in Steve Jobb's pocket. Fuck it, John's happy. I give it a listen. Damn this shit is solid. Rush it over to John, he shits himself, blah blah. Never seen a smile that big in my life, job done. I go home and give the album a chance, the album is called "Cactus" by "Cactus"

So the album gives you about 2 seconds to catch your breath before it gets completely out of control. It's fast, it's hard, it's heavy. The first track is called "Parchman Farm." The drums make you want to run laps and the guitar sounds like there are 5 guitar players playing simultaneously. Somehow whoever is playing the harmonica keeps up with all this. The singer sounds like Rod Stewart if he was about to die from a speed ball. Basically this song would be the last song you have to complete before beating the game in "Rock band." Still if someone could play that shit on expert...Dude, give up, you're the best. We get it, go get some arcade pussy. Somehow the second track, "My Lady from South of Detroit," is the most gentle song I've ever heard. Seals and Crofts gentle. Then you listen to the lyrics, it's a little dirty, not very radio friendly, but not really "Potty Mouth"status. It really is a good song. It's a perfect song if you happen to be making out with a girl at 4:30 am , parked on Mullholland looking over the valley when sky is orange. The album gets a little bluesy on the next couple tracks and really starts to rock, in a good way. Then you get the gem on the album..."No need to worry." It's Led Zeppelin without high priced production/equipment. Makes your mind travel around the room and make you think, "Why have I never heard these guys?" I'm not saying they are Led Zeppelin or can even bathe in the same bath water but, it's a great change of pace if the first 6 Led Zep albums have become sing-alongs. Dusty Ray (lead singer/ "Amboy Duke"), has a great voice and at times carries the group, he just doesn't have that unthinkable Robert Plant range. They also have the same back bone as "Vanilla Fudge," Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice who also appeared with Jeff Beck on the 1973 album, "Beck, Bogert & Appice," also worth checking out. "Cactus" is a very bluesy, heavy-rock gem and I encourage all of you to search for it (on itunes) it's $7. John will be happy you gave it a listen and so will I.

The Crazy Robertson Coachella Sticker Campaign Part Deux

That was the original sticker. This was the one that started it all. John hates it, we do too now. What a difference a year makes. We made those right in time for Coachella and put them up everywhere. It was the best/funniest feeling hearing people in the V.I.P. bathrooms start laughing saying,"Oh my God," Crazy Robertson has a website! So we figured we would do it again...

We have a new sticker, made especially for Coachella 08' so look for it. We will also be taking candid photos of you and your friends and posting them on the site. Cameras are heavy these days and even though we would all like to cuddle and watch Jack Johnson like the rest of you frat guys, we will be taking photos, because that's a cool thing to do these days, right Cobra Snake?

Here's the new sticker...

If you see us we will give you one, or two, maybe just one. So remember, following Coachella weekend photos will be available on TheCrazyRobertson.com/Coachella

See you in 2 weeks

Dance Music Sex Romance

Maybe you haven't heard but another one of John's faves has been added to the Coachella lineup, Prince. Prince's black album is in John's rotation heavily and in honor of Prince headlining the show, it's safe to say you will be hearing more of him in the coming month. So if you drive down Robertson in your little Red Corvette, wearing a raspberry Barret, honk if you see a Sexy Dancer. check out Coachella for further info. We will see you in Indio.

Oh another thing. Remember Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood stories? The stories might be true? All that shit about Prince can ball and Prince made us pancakes...

I don't know what his name is...

John Jermien, check out this guy. Doing his best Jermien:

I mean the guy is almost dead on except he lacks a great tan, a winning personality, glasses, god-like attributes, nice hair and a an extensive vocabulary. The guy could stand lose a few L-B's and John doesn't smoke Stogs. Aside from that big guy, I think you pretty much had it. John would be proud

A little preview....

The new shirt is coming out inthe next week. It will features the usual bright pinks and blue and it will be the first glimpse at John Jermien's magical skate. Yea John has a skate with wings, how else do you think he flies with other GOD's. This shirt and sweatshirt is hot and really holds it down for the Westside. John stated that this is his favorite shirt since the last one, so get ready, it's a doozie!!!

New pictures on facebook

Check out the new photos from the Crazy Robertson photoshoot on Facebook and Myspace and become our friend if you aren't already. John looks great and he's ready to party in 08'. The photoshoot concentrates on John's latest dance choreographics and his recent spot in BPM Magazine. It was a nice day and John further increased his impecable tan. What a skin tone on that guy. Stay tuned for recent interviews and dance videos.

Crazy Robertson and Justice for All

Since we (mainly Alex Kelman) put on the Justice show at the Viper Room with the Ed Banger guys, the Crazy Robertson love continues to grow. Since Justice was such a big part of it, we had to show our love back. The show at the Mayan was real sick even though they are so popular now that it has become a sing along. Still, with the singing crowd and abuse of the holiest symbol in the world, the electro duo continues to surprise me with their wacky noise.
We went to see Xavier perform later last night at Les Deux and he killed it.(Xavier de Rosnay)
Didn't really play any Justice tunes, kinda just threw a party which was refreshing. It was nice seeing them and catching up, (Gaspard Augé)Homeboy likes Ted Nugent too..
they still rock our gear we gave them from the Viper Room show and they keep getting more popular by the day. We hope to see them when the sun goes down in the dessert very soon.
Oh and none of this could of happened with a little help from Kanye. (True Hollywood Story) One of the mongoloid security guys at Les Deux knocked my camera out of my hands and stole it thinking we were trying to take a picture of Mr. West. Kanye got it back and was super nice. Thanks Kanye and Justice, we have a feeling you guys have similar tastes in music videos, you guys should talk.
By the way, we love the new video, keep em coming

Thanks again Brian for a fun night
