Happy Bluetooth Day

Effective today, you cannot talk on a cell phone in your car without a bluetooth earpiece/headset or an in car handsfree systems. There is a penalty for this, and I'm curious what that is exactly? I wonder how much it took to for the cell phone companies to pay off the government to get this one passed. It's insane. July 1st kinda creeped up, I'm sure many of you out there don't even have a blue tooth yet. What happens when you have an important incoming call, no blue tooth while on your way to purchase the blue tooth? Do you answer? No way Jose, you didn't buy the your right to talk yet. Think about the things people in the Ots can reminisce about...
Oh remember when we could talk in the car on the phone without a bluetooth? Oh remember when eating non organic foods wasn't frowned upon? Hey guys remember when presidents were white?
This undefineable, lame generation where everything seems to be an emulation of the past and everyone is sad and second guesses all decisions because the strong emphasis forced upon us to be as individualistic has created a generation of "indie" people who all look like clones and are just the opposite of individuals, they have conformed to the pack. Take a look in the mirror. Wanna talk indie? Look at John Jermien, that's indie. That guy doesn't give a fuck. He likes chips, coffee, beer, fine wine, spandex, black, Hendrix, Cactus, visors, rollerskates, boomboxes, D batteries, drums and dancing. He's a simple man who likes simple things. This generation is anything but simplistic. It's all about knowing this and doing that and doing as much of everything as we can. Why? To be well rounded? Take a lesson from John: Less is more. You don't need to have everything to feel a sense happiness you can have no money and have no problems and just be, that's as individualistic as it gets.

So do what everyone's doing because you have to, buy that head set space man, it's time to celebrate technology. I'm just waiting to see who will be the first to tax the air we breathe. That will be something.

I am such a loser. My phone is not even compatible with bluetooth.

I still remember using the Motorola brick phones. That weighed about 10 pounds. Nobody in their right mind would drive and talk on those.
